Behind the Open Source project is Angelos Mavros from Athens, Greece. Angelos began making music under the alias OutSid3r in 1999 and has been constantly improving his outputs since then. In 2004, he started releasing music under the name "Open Source", as he switched from trackers to a professional DAW. All of his productions include prominent melodies and deep ambience that reflect the producer's melancholic psyche. In 2005, Angelos founded Ghost Label records, a label dedicated to electronic music that has released the majority of his tracks. Born in the deep rain-forests of Central Africa, was a chimpanzee named Kevin, who was unlike any other ape in the jungle. While his peers swung from vines and played in the treetops, he was fascinated by a different kind of rhythm. He was entranced by the sound of the rain, the wind in the leaves, and the chirping of birds, but most of all, he loved the beat of the jungle itself.One day, as he sat by a gurgling stream, he found an old, discarded radio. He curiously examined it, pushing buttons and twisting knobs. Suddenly, music blared from the small device. The ape's eyes widened with wonder, and a rush of excitement coursed through him. The rhythmic beats and melodies filled his heart, and he began to dance, swaying to the music with pure joy.The ape's newfound passion for music soon turned into an obsession. He spent hours each day tinkering with the radio, discovering new tunes and rhythms. His fellow chimps watched him with amusement, wondering why he was so captivated by this strange human invention.As days turned into weeks, a fascination evolved into something more profound. He began to experiment with different sounds in the jungle, mimicking the melodies he had heard on the radio. He would beat rocks on tree trunks, clap his hands, and imitate the bird's songs, creating his own unique beats.His affinity for rhythm and melody quickly became evident to his ape companions. They gathered around him as he improvised, and soon they too began to dance to his rhythms. The jungle was alive with the sounds of makeshift music, bringing joy and unity to his fellow chimpanzees.Word of this ape's music soon reached a group of local scientists who were studying primates in the rain-forest. They were amazed by the ape's musical abilities and decided to observe him closely. They left a small record player with a collection of music, and Kevin immediately recognized the device, having heard a similar sound from the old radio he found.The ape's journey into the world of DJ'ing had officially begun. With the record player, he learned to switch records, create unique mixes, and even scratch the vinyl with a twig. The scientists were astonished by the musical prodigy they had discovered.Over time, the Ape's DJ trek took him beyond the rain-forest. In 1988, he began spinning records in Colorado, captivating audiences with fun hooks and beats. And, as years would pass, his DJ path would branch as it held course with his life; thus, taking him to California, Hawaii, Germany, Spain, and China, performing at clubs, raves, and mobile gigs. His unique jungle-inspired beats made the souls of many smile.With the inevitable passage of time, the Ape's life took new turns, but all the same, he never lost touch with his roots. These days, he continues to mix music simply for fun, and to furnish his wife with new stuff to listen to. He often imagines that his poor wife lives with a semi-domesticated ape that roams the house and makes uncouth gestures--the local house ape.

DARK MUSIC FOR DARK SOULS A dear friend suggested, that I explain what "Dark Sanctuary Radio" really is. In a word, it is ART. Actually, more like theater or performance art. It is not simply a dark, hard, evil, gothic, radio show. It is a full on, audio experience. It's like taking a ride in a carnival Funhouse. You never know what might pop up next or what is around the corner. It will get you to tap your feet and move your body as well as make you laugh. It might even give you a scare or two. Think Dr. Demento on steroids! A lot of people look at the the length of the shows and think "I don't have time for all of that". Like I said, this is NOT your typical radio show. It is not just long hours of music. There are many strange and wonderful surprises in every show. You do not have to simply sit and suffer through endless hours or even 1 hour. Please do me a favor, just for the sake of art, just listen to 30 to 60 minutes of a show. You might find that you actually enjoy it. Start with the newer shows, I have perfected my craft =)

Der Künstlername Ms. KrishNa ist 2014 geboren und besteht aus Buchstaben meines Vor-und Nachname, wurde in passende DJ Name abgekürzt. Weil ich die Liebe zu Musik schon von klein auf pflege wollte ich schon immer DJ sein, besonders habe ich mein Wunsch und Traum mit 14 Jahren manifestiert. Da ich gebürtig aus Kasachstan komme, habe ich die 90er Jahre mit genommen, die waren die schwierigsten damals nach dem Fall der Sowjet Union. Nun folgte 1996 die Aussiedlung nach Deutschland. Da habe ich zum ersten Mal richtig elektronische Musik angefangen zu hören. Ich ging über verschiedene Genre durch von Hard-Rock, Gothic bis in die Techno-Szene. 2004 kam ich in die Drum'n'Bass Liebe und so wurden einige Partys veranstaltet.2010 kam ich in den Genuss psychodelischer Musik, habe Goa "Szene" kennengelernt, ich wurde Mitveranstalterin in Schweizer Musik Label Psy-Travel, hatte sehr schöne Zeit, aber dann kam die Entscheidung meinem Traum DJ zu sein. Und ich habe mir Unterricht verschafft von einem Label Musiker und DJ, weil ich ein Geburtstagsgeschenk meinem besten Freund machen wollte und zwar in seinem Lieblings-Genre PSYChill. Nun kam es zu etlichen Gigs auf privaten Partys, weil ich nie kommerziell Musik machen wollte, habe ich die Musik gemacht weil mir das Spass macht und ich die Menschen die ich liebe glücklich machen kann, das erfüllt mich......Nach lange Pause bin ich nun wieder da, dies mal mit Liebe zu Hi-Tech....und bin gespannt was mir die Zeit noch beschert die ich in diesem Leben noch habe.Love, Peace und möge uns alle die Musik glücklich machen!!!

Topodj a.k.a. Anton Topalovich (Rovinj), was born in Rovinj (Croatia). He has been performing since 2000. His style is mostly House, Vocal House. One of the models and DJs whose style he followed were: David Morales, Dj Spiller, Boris Dlugosch, Roger Sanchez, Miguel Migs, Marques Wyatt, Pete Tong, Paolo Barbato, Mark Farina. He spent most of his career in the famous center "Monvi" (Croatia-Rovinj) as a DJ in the club La Playa (Rovinj), Los Amigos (Rovinj) (Resident DJ) for seven consecutive years from 2003 - 2010. In the meantime, he played at open air club LightHouse (Bale), Fort Punta Christo (Pula). Later also played in the club Saint&Sinner (Porec), caffe bar Morosini (Rovinj), Harat's Pub (Rovinj) and many others.
